Elk/Deer License:
Beginning with the 1996 season, the 5600 licenses in the outfitter set aside
will be guaranteed to all hunters that book a hunt with an outfitter. The
market based outfitter sponsored elk/deer combination license in 2008 is
available at $1,500.
This license includes elk, deer, upland game birds,
fishing and conservation license.
The license deadline is March 15th to be guaranteed a license. We will send you
the application in early February. The general big game season is from the 4th
Saturday in October to the Sunday following Thanksgiving. The archery season
runs from the 1st Saturday in September and continues for 6 weeks.
Mountain Goat:
The Mountain Goat license is on a lottery (random draw) system. The chance of
being successfiil in obtaining a license averages about one chance in nine. The
season opens September 1st and continues through the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
The cost of the Mountain Goat permit is $753.00
