Hunting License Dates

Elk/Deer License:

The passage of I-161 in November 2010 removed the outfitter sponsored licenses from the licensing process. Beginning in 2011 there will be 17,000 nonresident general elk/deer combination licenses available for $897.00. The licensing deadline will remain March 15th and both guided and nonguided nonresident hunters will draw from the one pool of licenses. According to the FW&P predictions based on license sales in relation to cost, there should be over a 90% chance of receiving a license in 2011.
